Are Elektrik Uretim Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S. invested in a wind power plant to generate renewable electricity to feed into the Turkish grid. The wind power plant Kurtkayası
- Replaces the consumption of fossil fuels and thereby contributes to the conservation of water, soil, flora and fauna,
- Provides future generations with energy from renewable resources,
- Reduces greenhouse gas emissions occurring from extraction, processing, transportation and burning of fossil fuels,
- Accelerates the growth of the wind power industry and thereby encourages other entrepreneurs to invest in wind power generation and reduces the import dependency especially on natural gas.
