Funding SDG Impacts with Gold Standard for the Global Goals
On 9th February, Gold Standard hosted a webinar to introduce Gold Standard for the Global Goals, our new standard to quantify and verify impacts of climate initiatives toward multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We also introduced market research that we are conducting in collaboration with the Climate & Clean Air Coalition, and with support from the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and the World Bank, to assess what SDGs sustainably-minded businesses are most interested in supporting through climate initiatives and how they would like these to be packaged.
On March 21, we hosted a follow-up 'virtual workshop' for impact investors, corproate sustainability professionals, development organisations and foundations that outlines how clean cookstove projects certified under Gold Standard for the Global Goals deliver quantified benefits across multiple SDGs.
