UPDATED 05 March 2024

Gold Standard is a not-for-profit headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, focused on catalysing more ambitious climate action to achieve the global goals through robust standards and verified impacts.

Gold Standard has been independently evaluated against ISEAL’s Codes of Good Practice - a globally-recognised framework for effective, credible sustainability systems. We have recently completed the Assurance Code and Impacts Code independent evaluations. We are the only standard in the voluntary carbon market to achieve this to date. As an ISEAL Community Member, Gold Standard is working to continually improve its system by taking part in ISEAL’s learning, collaboration, and innovation activities.
