CORSIA Phase 1: Verification of assessment of Insurance Policies

Gold Standard is seeking to contract at least one technical expert who would be responsible for reviewing and verifying assessments undertaken and determinations made by its Designated Organisation, regarding the consistency of third-party private insurance policies against set criteria adopted by Gold Standard to ensure they can adequately respond to instances of double counting between CORSIA and the NDC of a Party to the Paris Agreement. This is an important part of Gold Standard’s quality assurance framework, to ensure that eligibility decisions are made accurately, and in accordance with the set criteria.
