Transition for Existing Projects: We have developed a pragmatic transition framework to support current project developers:
· Gap Validation: Projects transitioning mid-crediting period undergo a targeted review focusing only on new requirements, avoiding full re-validation.
· Evidence-Based Updates: The update is supported by a Supplementary Information package, which details the peer-reviewed scientific literature underpinning the new leakage factors, embodied emissions defaults and lock in Risk Analysis
