What does Gold Standard bring to the engineered CDR space? Why is high integrity important for these project types? Where to start if you want to collaborate with Gold Standard?

Gold Standard recently released Activity Requirements for Engineered Removals for high integrity engineered CDR projects seeking certification under Gold Standard for the Global Goals. Building on over 20 years of leadership in the voluntary carbon market across reductions and removals, this release represents our aim to develop additional engineered removal methodologies with partners and scale project development while maintaining the scientific rigour, high integrity, and sustainable development impact we are known for.
Gold Standard have two approved methodologies: Carbon Mineralisation using Reactive Mineral Waste developed by Neustark and Biomass Fermentation with Carbon Capture and Geologic Storage developed by Summit Carbon.
A biochar methodology is under development, and we are exploring a 'Just and Sustainable Transitions Framework' to strengthen the sustainable development impact for people and nature.
Join the webinar to find out why integrity in engineered removal initiatives is so important, and hear from leaders in the CDR market on their experience and insights.
