Gold Standard will be at COP31 contributing to vital discussions, strengthening important partnerships, and highlighting how Gold Standard’s approach and offerings can drive real impact. To, transforming ambition into real impact - for people, nature and the planet.

Our COP31 engagement will underscore Gold Standard as a leaderour efforts in ensuring carbon markets deliver integrity, accessibility and scale, and position us as ademonstrate how we are a trusted partner for governments and market participants, serving as a ‘universal adapter’ that connects carbon finance with national climate and development priorities.
This year at COP, our priorities are to:
- Demonstrate how Paris Agreement alignment (PAA) is a carbon market opportunity:
- for projects, to stay ahead of market expectations and be best positioned to access carbon finance across sectors;
- for governments, because Paris-aligned projects can attract carbon finance for mitigation that supports governments’ net zero pathways as well as their development priorities;
- for carbon buyers, because buyers are increasingly expecting credits to be grounded in national pathways and PAA ambition. - Strengthen our partnerships with governments, project developers, auditors and corporate climate leaders.
- Highlight our PAA methodologies frameworks helping achieve measurable impact and sustainable development across scales and geographies.
- Showcase how Gold Standard is developing the digital infrastructure, tools and guidance to support credible net zero goals and deliver carbon finance to where it is most needed.
