Climate Action for People and Nature: Gold Standard’s 2025 Conference to Highlight Corporate Action and Project Impact

Gold Standard has announced the streams and key topics for its 2025 conference, "Climate Action for People and Nature," taking place on 5-6 June in Paris. The event will bring together corporate sustainability leaders, project developers, and climate experts to explore high-integrity strategies for scaling climate and nature action.

The conference, which will take place at the Pavillon Chesnaie du Roy will bring together corporate sustainability leaders, project developers, climate experts, and validation and verification bodies (VVBs) to explore effective strategies for driving high-integrity climate action that delivers impact where it’s most needed for vulnerable communities and ecosystems around the world.

 

It will feature actionable insights and tools for organisations navigating the evolving landscape of climate targets and strategies, carbon markets, environmental attribute certificates (EACs) and other mechanisms to drive value chain decarbonisation, and nature-based solutions.

Corporate Stream: Navigating Credible Climate and Nature Action

This stream is tailored for corporate sustainability professionals seeking to design and implement high-integrity climate and nature strategies that also deliver quantified, verified social impact. Sessions will provide clarity on how to meet climate targets, including through the use of carbon credits and other EACs, navigate the balance between removals and avoidance, and effectively and credibly communicate about the action they’re taking.
