Gold Standard uses the power of financial markets to deliver support to the most vulnerable. We set standards and design methodologies, to credibly measure the impact of projects aimed at combating climate change and delivering sustainable development. Our focus is on impact rather than a specific mechanism, meaning our standard can support the issuance of carbon credits and other financial tools.
Gold Standard is a not-for-profit headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, focused on catalysing more ambitious climate action to achieve the global goals through robust standards and verified impacts.
Gold Standard works with organisations from across the private sector and with other NGO’s to help us to achieve greater impact.
